The Seven Themes of the Bifid Structure build both sequentially and cumulatively. Through composite types (Righteous Warrior, Servant, and King Cyrus), Book of Mormon parallels, and a grand Punishment and Deliverance Chiasm spanning chapters 41-46, Isaiah assembles the mission of an endtime Davidic servant who reconquers Israel’s Promised Lands and prepares the way for the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ.
Highlights include examining how each of the first two Bifid themes lay the foundation for the introduction of the latter-day servant in the third Bifid theme of Punishment and Deliverance; everyone going into “labor” in the endtime; and detailing the servant’s mission by studying the parallels in the grand chiastic structure.
