Yom Teruah, the High Holy Day of Trumpets that begins on the seventh new moon in the fall, symbolically announces the ushering in of endtime events preceding the Messiah’s Second Coming. Many important prophetic events will occur in these “due times” of the Lord—times that are not random. As we learn about the several themes connected with the Day of Trumpets and examine endtime events that have already occurred precisely on that day (including the coming forth of the Book of Mormon) we will discover patterns that will further our understanding of what the scriptures are revealing—as the hour of Judgment begins to unfold.
Highlights include: The “due times” of the Lord; the sign in the heavens of Revelation 12; the announcement of the coronation of The King (HaMelech); the coming forth of the Book of Mormon on the Day of Trumpets (Yom Teruah); a “Day of Remembrance” at Mount Sinai (Yom HaZikaron); the “Last Trump” and the resurrection of the “Last Day”; the scriptural differences between Adam-ondi-Ahman (the “rapture”) and the Second Coming; the chiastic life cycles of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph; the Season of Repentance (Teshuvah); The Hidden Day (Yom HaKedesh) enacted in the ancient temple; the Two Witnesses of Revelation 11; The Day of Judgment (Yom HaDin) and the Day of the Lord (Yom Adonai).
