Learn about Isaiah’s main theme—the Redemption of Zion—through his use of a structure called Isaiah’s Zion Ideology. We will focus on Hezekiah’s trial and covenantal rebellion or compliance; the Davidic Covenant phrase, “God Is with Us”; Isaiah’s metaphorical pseudonym “arms”; and several instances of Zion Ideology in scripture. Highlighted are possible Mars’ Near Pass-bys; the treachery of the king of Assyria; two final endtime battles; and the grand finale of the Redemption of Zion!
